Doug Howard – Principal Partner
Originally Doug started out as a recording artist with Atlantic/Atco Records in the early 1980’s as the bassist for the rock band Touch. Doug went onto record and tour as a sideman with artists such as Todd Rundgren, Edgar Winter, Johnny Winter, Roy Buchannan and as the lead vocalist for Stun Leer. Doug later moved to the business of music, working in video production, promotion and distribution for Telegenics, Rockamerica, and as the General Sales Manager/Director of East Coast Operations for ETV Network. Most recently, Doug served as Vice President of Strategic Relations for Screenplay, Inc of Seattle. Doug is an alumni of Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Stacie Foster – Consulting Counsel
Stacie Foster is Lodestar’s lead consulting counsel. She specializes in intellectual property litigation, employment counseling and litigation and complex commercial litigation. More specifically, she has managed and litigated hundreds of anti-piracy cases in the satellite television industry, prosecuted trade secrets litigation on behalf of large employers and defended class action claims against major telecommunications companies.
A partner of Invicta Law Group, llc of Seattle, WA, she is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Washington, as well as the Eastern and Western District Courts of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Kentucky, and the Southern District of Missouri. She has also practiced before Federal District Courts in New York, Texas, and California.
Robert St. John – Chief Engineer & Technical Director
Known for his work as an engineer and producer for a variety of albums, and projects for Duran Duran, Elton John, Ozzy Osbourne, Soul Asylum, Blondie, Letters to Cleo and Extreme, Bob is universally recognized as one of the top Pro Tools “mechanics” in the industry. He heads up PDQ Productions, his personal recording studio and mixing facility in Coca Beach, Florida and oversees all production and technical protocols for Lodestar Entertainment.
Jean Renard – Creative Director & Enterprise Promotions
Jean Renard is a photographer, videographer and talent manager currently based in Los Angeles, California. He is a partner in the Beverly Hills firm BKM headed by manager Barry Krost, whose resume includes Cat Stevens, Sarah Brightman, Matthew Perry, John Osbourne, Liza Minnelli, Barbara Bain and others, as well as a producer of feature films, most notably When a Stranger Calls. Renard’s management career began with Benjamin Orr of the superstar group “The Cars”. He also discovered and subsequently managed super-model Niki Taylor. Jean oversees all creative efforts of Lodestar and networks all enterprise promotions involving Lodestar’s clients.
